Transformers Megatron – leader of the Decepticons

Megatron is the undisputed leader of the Decepticons, ruling through sheer strength, tyranny and the fact that he’s more powerful than them – even the much larger Decepticons shudder at the thought of his built-in cannon on his arm turning his sights on them; Because, while it would take several hits to incapacitate the powerful Megatron, it would only take one blast from him to finish him off for them.

There was a time, long ago, when there wasn’t quite the Megatron as we know him today, the sworn enemy of the noble Optimus Prime. They were once co-rulers of their world Cybertron, before one (yes, related) brother decided he wanted all the power.

The pursuit of the Transformers’ source of power, the All-Spark, is what precipitated Cybertron’s downfall, with Optimus Prime having to launch it away into the depths of space to get away from an obsessed Megatron, ruling over their planet in the process, in order to preserve Cybertron by the life energies of Spark . Their battle will stretch across space-time, until the two brothers find themselves on Earth.

Megatron has no specific weaknesses, and wields an enormous array of weapons, more than any Autobot and more than most Decepticons (huge Decepticons, like Blackout, might have more weapons simply because of their massive size). The power of his weapons surpasses all other robots, except perhaps Optimus Prime, especially since the latter uses his Energon blades with masterful dexterity.

The previously mentioned Megatron fusion cannon has a super mode that can greatly increase its power by using an extra-dimensional black hole to harness the energy of antimatter. A fusion side can annihilate a city; antimatter, state. It is clearly the best weapon to use in space.

Some of Megatron’s other physical traits in his goal of total conquest are intimidating in their own right. Like his archenemy Prime, he can use an Energon flail, a Morningstar-like that simply brutalizes opponents, maiming them to last with a rear-mounted cannon, electric blasts, or lasers from his optics. As if those weren’t enough, his alternate mode vehicle can scatter the battlefield: a Cybertronian tank; You have to see it to believe it.

Even worse, these monstrosities can fly like jet planes. Megatron wields all of these weapons in his eternal machinations against the only thing standing in the way of his deadline with Spark: Optimus Prime and his Autobots. Alas – for him. He never reached his goal, as his brother Optimus finally succeeded in killing him countless centuries after their reign on Cybertron ended. However, with Megatron, the question is always beneath the surface: Will the Dark Lord rise again?
